Great service, very honest and open-minded! I’m originally from Germany and have been driving used cars in the U.S. for several years. Since they need regular repairs, I’ve had quite a few experiences with car services. Plano Automotive has been one of the few truly honest and trustworthy places I’ve come across. Thank you!!

Visited Plano Automotive today specifically because of the stellar reviews for some work my car needed. I quickly understood what the praise was about. Ali treated me with respect, explained everything very thoroughly as well as brought me out to my car to show me what was wrong up close so I knew exactly what he was telling me to fix and why. I’m used to being told what needs to be fixed with a price tag attached that I hope is fair. With Ali I felt 100% confident that the repairs recommended were needed (because he showed me) and all were fairly priced (we checked). Also they were able to get it fixed same day as a bonus. Definitely will be using his shop as long as we live in the area. Couldn’t recommend this business and Ali more. The five star reviews are for a good reason, you’re going to love taking your cars here and Ali will treat you like family.

I can’t say enough good things about Plano Automotive! From start to finish, the team was professional, honest, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain what was going on with my car and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. The service was fast, the pricing was fair, and the quality of the work was top-notch. It’s clear they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. This is the kind of local shop you can trust—I’ll definitely be coming back for any future car needs!

Plano Automotive is an unknown gem for auto repair. I have known the owner Ali for several years now. I initially went to his shop for an inspection sticker. I had asked him a random question about one of my vehicles. He was correct. He has easily diagnosed my vehicles problems and given me honest pricing. Everyone wants to find that "honest mechanic" that knows their craft, does an excellent excellent job, and WON'T RIP YOU OFF!!!! Ali is that mechanic. Just recently I brought in my vehicle and he diagnosed the problem immediately. He physically showed me the problem and I said to myself that he could have overcharged me but he HONESTLY fixed my car and even brought me and my Shih Tzu water before he initiated the repair. It's rare that you fine an automotive shop that will do a professional job without trying to rip you off. I'll put my mechanic up against yours any day. His work has been top notch and he's honest.

I usually frequent the dealership for any car maintenance for my vehicle, but Mr. Ali at Plano Automotive provides the same level of quality and craftsmanship from what I’ve seen. He’s fair and honest with his assessments and gets you the essentials you need to get back on the road. He’s our go-to guy for all 4 of our cars. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience going here and had to leave a good review. I was going to another mechanic in the area but had some issues and I am glad I came here instead. My car was making a very loud noise as I drove and Ali noticed immediately when I pulled up to the shop and he started looking at my car within literal seconds. I left the car with him longer to get a more thorough diagnosis and he was very honest. Ultimately, he explained he was unable to fix the issue because of a specialized part only available through the dealership, but he was honest about this, and provided me with a temporary fix so I could safely drive the car to the dealer. He charged me nothing for the diagnosis and temporary fix. Upon going to the dealership, they confirmed that his diagnosis was correct. Very professional and honest. Highly recommend.

I have been to Plano Automotive twice now. Nobody wants car problems, but the next time I have one I will be coming back. The service here is honest, FAST, and fairly priced. I drive a European car and a lot of places turn me away because the vehicle is complicated. That is not the case here.

I have been bringing my car to Plano Automotive for the past 7 years, and I cannot recommend Ali highly enough. Finding an honest and knowledgeable mechanic is not easy, but Ali truly stands out. He takes the time to explain what’s going on, shows me the old parts alongside the new ones, and makes sure I understand exactly what I’m paying for. His pricing is always fair and reasonable, and I’ve never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs. Most importantly, when Ali fixes something, it stays fixed. I have never had to bring my car back for the same issue. That kind of reliability and integrity is rare. If you’re looking for a mechanic you can truly trust, Plano Automotive is the place to go.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plano Automotive I had an excellent experience at Plano Automotive. The technician knew exactly what the problem was without even having to look at it first, which immediately showed his knowledge and experience. He was extremely kind, professional, and took the time to show me the issue in a way I could understand. Before doing any work, everything was explained clearly, and after the repair was completed, he showed me exactly what was done. I never felt rushed, talked down to, or unsure about what was happening. Honest, professional, and thorough service like this is hard to find. I highly recommend Plano Automotive and will definitely return for future service. As a woman, I felt respected and valued. They did not charge me for taking care of the issue, and they also checked all my tires and fluids, topping off what was needed. This is the kind of shop you come back to once you find it.
